The Champs Elysées Avenue, Paris

The Champs Elysées Avenue in Paris tops the list of the most beautiful avenues in the world. Completed in the seventeenth century, the city's main artery, which links the imposing Arc de Triomphe landmark to the Place de la Concorde, has undergone many changes since. What used to be Paris’ most exclusive shopping destination is now peppered with high street shops and tourist-trap-restaurants among the remaining luxury flagship stores of brands like Louis Vuitton and Cartier . However, despite the transition, the wide, tree-lined avenue remains striking. And if you know where to look, you’ll find that les Champs retains much of its original chic and allure, so read on for five ways to get the most out of your visit to the world's most famous avenue.

So why is the Longchamp bag so popular? Well first of all it comes in a variety of sizes and colors. One woman told The Observer, for New Yorkers, Longchamps were comparable to a car, because you could throw so much essential junk in it.
